Finca Torremilanos has belonged to the Peñalba López Family since 1975, yet been part of the wine industry since 1903. Stunning architecturally viewed from the road, its wines, made in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, are majestic and grandiose.

At an Altitude of 800 to 900 m. As a distinctive feature, Torremilanos enjoys a singular climate, impeding disproportionate growth of the vines in the 230 Hectares. Giving prime importance to seasoning the wood because of its decisive role in conferring aromatic qualities, it makes use of French, American and Romanian Oak. The Barrels are not all treated for the same period of time, distinguishing between Light, Medium and Heavy Toasting, and almost always opting for Medium Toast in order to obtain the ratio best appreciated by the senses.

Builders of one of the few Cavas Artisans outside Catalonia, is the only of Castile and Leon, part of that appellation. Winery, Hotel and Restaurant, a magical venue for staging important Events such as Weddings.

Apart from Bespoke Wine Tastings, Wine-Tasting Initiation Courses and Harvest Workshops, Torremilanos boasts 3 superb attractions:

1. They have a Team of Falcons to scare away Birds from the estate. Their aim is to reduce losses in the vineyards, but the magnificent Birds of Prey are worth a visit. A Display of Birds in Flight over the vineyards is offered on their Wine Tourism Menu.

2. It manufactures its own casks with oak wood brought in from France, the United States and Romania.

3. It produces and sells its own facial tonics and creams, obtained from grapes, wine or vine flowers.

Wine Tourism

• There are 8 different types of visit and prices vary accordingly: from 6 € for the quick tour to 50 € for the harvest workshop (Lunch included).
• It is essential to book in advance.
• It lasts for 1½ hours, and includes the tasting of two wines
