A High-tech Winery
Committed to innovation and quality, it devotes 30% of its turnover to R&D&i, having an Online Shop, its own Television Channel (the first in the world dedicated to wine), and social media profiles, including Pinterest, Instagram and Flickr.
The 7 Wineries belonging to the Matarromera Group are sustainable, using Renewable Energy: Biomass, Photovoltaic and Thermal.
Established in 1988 in Olivares de Duero, some of its installations are partially underground on a gentle slope in the Duero Valley, with vineyards growing trellised and goblet-shaped vines of the 'Tinta del País', 'Cabernet Sauvignon' and 'Merlot' varieties. It can process up to 650,000 litres through its 2,000 Barrels.
Operational in four Denominations of Origin: Ribera del Duero, Toro, Rueda and Cigales.

Both guided tours include the tasting of 3 Matarromera wines. The only difference is that one tour offers a vineyard visit.
